We begin with a conversation about how you want the garment to look and feel - the occasion, your style preferences, and any specific requirements. We discuss the differences between made to measure and bespoke so you can make an informed choice. Allow 30 minutes.
Cloth Selection
Choose from our curated collection of premium British and Italian cloths. While the selection is more focused than our full bespoke library, the quality is identical - these are cloths from the same mills, chosen for versatility and durability.
Measurements
We take 15 to 20 measurements of your body, noting key proportions and any adjustments needed. These measurements are used to modify a proven base pattern to your specific dimensions - the same care as bespoke, applied to a refined starting point.
Fitting
Approximately four weeks after your consultation, you return for a single fitting. The garment is tried on, and we make any final adjustments to sleeve length, trouser break, collar, and body. Most made to measure garments are perfected in this single fitting.
Delivery
Your finished garment is pressed, inspected, and presented to you in person. We provide care instructions and your measurements are stored for future orders - making subsequent commissions even faster.

What is the difference between made to measure and bespoke?
A made to measure suit uses a pre-existing pattern that is adjusted to your measurements across 20 to 25 data points. A bespoke suit is cut from a unique pattern drafted from scratch for your body alone. Made to measure offers excellent fit at a more accessible price and faster turnaround; bespoke offers complete design freedom and the highest level of fit.
How long does a made to measure suit take?
4 to 6 weeks from consultation to delivery. The process includes one fitting appointment where we take your measurements, discuss cloth and style preferences, and confirm every detail. The finished garment is delivered ready to wear.
How much does a made to measure suit cost?
Made to measure two-piece suits start from £1,100 and three-piece suits from £1,350. Individual jackets start from £800 and trousers from £400. Made to measure shirts start from £150. All prices include your choice of cloth from our partner mills.
Can I choose the same cloths as bespoke?
Yes. Made to measure clients have access to the same cloth ranges from Holland & Sherry, Scabal, Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, Standeven, Dugdale Bros, and Vitale Barberis Canonico. The cloth quality is identical - the difference is in the construction method, not the materials.
Is made to measure worth it compared to off the rack?
Significantly. An off-the-rack suit is made in one of approximately 10 standard sizes. A made to measure suit is adjusted across 20 to 25 measurements to your specific body. The difference in fit is immediately visible - particularly in the shoulders, chest, and trouser rise. For most clients, made to measure is the single biggest upgrade they can make to how their suits fit.
Do you offer home consultations for made to measure?
Yes. We offer door-to-door consultations for made to measure commissions at no additional charge. We bring cloth bunches, measuring equipment, and style references to your home or office. Please contact us to arrange.
Do I have to pay everything upfront?
No. We offer flexible payment terms on all commissions. A deposit is taken when you place your order, with the balance due on delivery of your completed garment. The exact arrangement is discussed during your consultation. We do not use third-party finance.
